Populous Map is based in New Westminster on the unceded territory of the Kwantlen, Qayqayt, Katzie, Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw, Stó:lō, Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilwətaɁɬ), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm. The land is a traditional gathering place, a place for good fishing and food, and holds the home and histories of many Indigenous nations for thousands of years.

The reserve in New Westminster was forcibly removed in 1916 during the McKenna-McBride Act. This is an atrocity that still makes the Qayqayt a nation without any land base.
